How do we continue to keep schools opened during this pandemic and any future pandemic?

There is no silver bullet, but there are great strategies to help mitigate the risks of COVID19 and any other variant virus while improving the indoor air quality of every school. Any truly successful strategy uses a multi-layered approach.

Here is such a strategy:

For this to be done in a way that gives your school the best opportunity to truly be able to do this, we need to understand the structure of most schools, the staff that works there, the teachers that teach and the students that walk into a school.

We don’t need to know the individuals. We must look at the broader picture to truly appreciate the real solutions. We are not talking about the abilities of the people walking into or working at a school, rather we are talking about the basic necessary health of each person.

  1. Purify the air students are breathing while they are in class
  2. Use disinfectants that are safe to spray that do not contribute to poor indoor air quality
  3. Prevent sick people from entering the building using MIT artificial intelligence
